Co-design is a bit like CDC – we’ve been hearing about it for a long time. But what does it look like in practice and how can it help?

The introduction of Consumer Directed Care, the arrival of the baby boomers, and the influx of private capital and competition are focusing government and providers on consumer needs and preferences. Governments are also increasingly embedding co-design in strategy and practice, so it's important for marketers and researchers in aged care to be across its tenets.

Co-design techniques ensure providers:

—     Understand consumers at the facility or local community level

—     Work with consumers and their families to innovate, or introduce new products and services

—     Offer services that are relevant and will be purchased

—     Change the conversation from government to user pays

—     Empower staff to solve client problems

Designed for executive research, marketing and strategy personnel, this seminar and workshop will demonstrate how co-design can assist your organisation to harness customer insights to drive innovation and growth. Combining knowledge exchange and design thinking workshops, this event will have you up-to-date and ready to brief your colleagues. It will also be a great opportunity to speak with your peers in the sector.

Expert facilitators include Bridgette Engeler, Director of Swinburne’s Master of Design, and Rhod Ellis-Jones, Principal of Ellis Jones.

Join us at our Collingwood warehouse for this unique opportunity to learn from experts and real life case studies over elegant wines from the Clare Valley and McLaren Vale and delicious Tasmanian cheeses. Ample parking is available in nearby Gipps, Peel and Wellington Streets.
